An amazing multimedia show with live music performed by the Beethoven Academy Orchestra. The best animated movies from the classic cartoon Bolek and Lolek which connected several generations. Do you want to see where all the different sounds come from in your favourite cartoons, see a symphonic orchestra up close and watch your favourite animations on a really big screen? Come to the ICE Kraków Congress Centre to participate in the St Nicholas’ Day Concert.

Just don’t forget to take your parents and grandparents with you – they also grew up with the adventures of Bolek and Lolek!

The Bolek and Lolek Symphony is a project aimed at children aged 5-9. The first point of the programme will be the screening of the famous Bolek and Lolek cartoons, with live music played by symphonic orchestra. The cartoon, known and loved by the young people will become a starting point for the educational part, the goal of which is to teach children about symphonic orchestra, instruments, division etc. Moreover, the connection between the picture and music provides an opportunity to demonstrate features such as tension, mood, colour etc. Children will also see how sound effects are made – for example, the sound of an arrow, falling apples, dripping water etc. The project has been carried our successfully in 5 cities in Poland during its 2013 and 2014 edition. The added value to the project is the promotion of classical works of Polish cinema. The Beethoven Academy Orchestra is the initiator and executor of this project.
