Construction work progress at the ICE Krakow Congress Centre, as of 31st May 2014
We invite you to read the report summarizing the progress of the works in the Congress Centre ICE Kraków at the end of April 2014.
In May, at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre construction site, work was underway in the backroom facility segment, on power supply installation (lighting). Flooring was laid on all levels, wall tiles were laid. Electroacustic systems were being installed in the Chamber Hall and the Conference Hall Complex. Work on the sound-proof wall and ceiling cladding in both above-mentioned halls began. In the Auditorium Hall segment, work on stage machinery (upper and lower) continued. Work ceiling sound insulation was completed, the raised floor and installation of electroacoustic systems continued. Plastering work and weak-current installation were underway in the Theatre Hall, as well as sound-proof wall cladding (completed) and the execution of electroacoustic systems.
In the Foyer segment, work on weak-current systems was underway. The roof rounding work was also in progress. The laying of screed floors continued, along with the construction of drywalls and suspended ceilings, as well as the fitting of glass partitions. Work on power installation (lighting) continued on the underground levels (garages) along with finishing works. Weak-current installations were completed.
Throughout the facility, sanitary installation, sanitary, fat, rainwater and sprinkler sewage systems, district heating (installation of heaters, air curtains, heating and ventilation units and controls still to be finished), cooling, ventilation and air-conditioning, fire ventilation were also practically finished (with the exception of the light fixtures and system controls). The transformer station was also completed. Work on the glass part of the building’s façade continued. Lifts and door-frame woodwork construction were being installed. The work on the planning of the area around the facility, lighting and blinds control system began. Work on the building management system (BMS) continued.
