- Each “Good Morning ICE Krakow” edition is a tribute to Krakow families. We stimulate them to go out and spend time together. ICE Krakow is open to youth. It welcomes children living in Krakow and nearby areas, emphasised Magdalena Łukasik, Deputy Marketing Director of the Krakow Festival Office. (The KFO is the operator of the ICE Kraków Congress Centre).
The upcoming “Good Morning ICE Krakow” is yet another event of the cycle prepared by the Krakow Festival Office. The ICE Krakow building will be open for sightseeing throughout the event. InfoKraków Tourist Information Network staff will guide tours of the facility. Duckie Deck, partner of “Good Morning ICE Krakow”, prepared many attractions for youngest participants:
Machine construction workshop
Hello, fellow constructors! This workshop is for you. We will use wooden LOFI blocks, screws and screwdrivers to build a moving machine. Next, we will apply engines, luminescent diodes and batteries to set our machine in motion. You decide what we build: a spaceship, a two-legged dragon, a roundabout or anything else!
The Goldberg Machine workshop
The Goldberg machine is a series of mechanisms propelled by the domino effect. Imagine combining a tower made of blocks, a bottle, a cup, a tube and a roll into one functioning mechanism. What kind of mechanism? That you have to come up with on your own! After that, we will film our machine in slow-motion.
This space will encompass a Carrer racing track, Makey-Makey musical carrots, the magical Leap Motion control device, the train section, puzzles and many more!
It is not required to register for the workshops. Just show up, and have fun!
