ICE is a partner of TEDx Krakow
Tomorrow, on the 20th of October (Thursday), eighteen speakers will deliver their presentations during the international TEDx Personalities and Leaders Meeting in Krakow. The organisers expect nearly 500 people to come to the Manggha Centre for Japanese Art and Technology, most of them business leaders, specialists in technology, activists and visionaries. The ICE Krakow Congress Centre is a partner of this event, which is taking place in Krakow for the second time.
The speakers at this year’s Krakow TEDx include Zbigniew Pełczyński, professor emeritus at Oxford and the founder of the Stefan Batory Foundation, Edward Lucas, editor of the international section of The Economist, Cecylia Malik, a Krakow-based artist, and Agata Wilam, founder of the Children’s University.
TEDx meetings take part annually in the largest cities of the world. They are a place for presenting innovative projects involving local communities, exchanging views and discussing trends, as well as encouraging creative activity. Last year’s conference (the first edition held in Krakow) was attended by over 500 people, with over 16,000 watching an online broadcast of the event.
