ICE Kraków at ITM Warsaw
Tomorrow (27th January), the Expo XXI Centre in Warsaw will host the launch of the 2nd edition of the ITM International Warsaw Tourism Market. Representatives of ICE Krakow and the Krakow Convention Bureau will be in attendance to present the new Congress Centre, which is currently under construction in Krakow. The trade fair will last until Sunday (29th January).
ITM Warsaw, together with the accompanying ITM Business Tourism Fairs, is intended to reach three target groups: buyers (persons in charge of purchasing business tourism services) from Poland and abroad, business guests (potential business partners), and the most attractive target group: consumers form the metropolitan area of Warsaw, considered as the wealthiest region in the country.
– ICE Krakow cannot afford to miss an event of such prestige and international reach – explains Izabela Helbin, Director of the Krakow Festival Office, in charge of operating ICE Krakow – For two years now, we have been running a large-scale informational campaign about the Centre, presenting it at major trade fairs across the globe. Business tourism is an exacting field; even before it is commissioned for use, the building must already be well known across the industry. Our presence at ITM Warsaw makes it easier for us to keep our finger on the pulse.
The ICE Krakow Congress Centre is under construction near Rondo Grunwaldzkie in Krakow. Designed by an international team of architects, the building will have more that 37, 000 sq m of usable space. (detailed information on the Centre: http://icekrakow.pl/).
The Centre is actively promoted at leading business tourism trade fairs cross Europe, e.g. in London, Brussels, Frankfurt, and Barcelona. Advanced negotiations are already under way with four contractors interested in using the ICE Kraków Centre in 2015 (three events for over 1,000 and one for around 700 people) and one contractor interested in organising a conference in 2017.
