ICE Krakow Congress Centre at Meetings Week Poland 2014
On Monday, 17 March, the second Meetings Week Poland will be held at the Conference Centre of the National Stadium in Warsaw.
Representatives of the ICE Kraków Congress Centre will participate in meetings and panel discussions and will promote the modern multifunctional Congress Centre which is currently being built in Krakow. The participants representing the meetings industry will have the opportunity to watch a Virtual Tour of ICE Kraków, planned to open in October 2014. Meetings Week Poland 2014 will go on until Friday, 21 March.
For five days of the Meetings Week Poland 2014 participants will be offered educational and networking meetings, perfect their skills in planning and organising conferences and corporate events and get in touch with Poland’s best specialists in the relevant areas. The event has been organised for the second time, now under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Sports and Tourism Andrzej Biernat, which best shows the importance of the event. On Friday, 21 March, ICE Kraków will be presented at the 2nd conference Meeting Standards: Specifications, Guidelines, Practice.
The organisers would like to invite not only members of the meetings industry, but also all existing and potential clients: conference planners and event employers, as well as the media and supporters from business environment institutions and persons responsible for municipal and regional development.
The term “meetings industry” is now increasingly often used all over the world. It highlights the multitude and the growing importance of specialist services associated with organisation of conferences, congresses, fairs, exhibitions, events and meetings of various professional circles. Several dozen thousands of such meetings are held in Poland annually to meet various client’s business objectives. From October 2014, ICE Kraków Congress Centre will also be a venue for congresses and international conferences.
