ICE Kraków is putting on its outerwear
ICE Kraków is putting on its outerwear – works on the elevation of the most modern Congress Centre in Poland are underway!
There are still several months left until the grand opening of ICE Kraków, but the building already looks impressive! We present a report on the progress of the works towards the end of November 2013.
Currently, the 2nd stage of the construction is being carried out. The building shell has been completed, as have the construction works. Finishing and installation works are under way, and work on the aluminium and ceramic ventilated elevation continues. Panels in four colours: red, black, and two shades of grey are being put up over the aluminium grillage – together, they will form a distinctive mosaic. This effect will also be used inside the building, giving the colours of the chairs various shades of red. Works on the structure for the glass elevation that will line the building on the side facing Wawel are nearing completion as well.
We would like to remind you that you may follow the progress of the works live thanks to three online cameras. Live feed from the cameras is available upon clicking the image below. Come and have a look!
