ICE Kraków supported by other Krakow institutions!
Malopolska is consistently building the image of a leader in the meetings industry. Thanks to mutually complementary activities of many institutions which promote the region together and in various places, a joint message is sent to the world: Malopolska is the perfect destination for the meetings industry!
The Krakow Film Commission (KFC), operating within the structures of the Krakow Festival Office, has prepared an advertising spot, in which we may see the most interesting places in Malopolska. Thanks to a coordinated promotional campaign, not only the KFC will benefit from it, but also the ICE Krakow Congress Centre, the Krakow Convention Bureau, and the Malopolska Region.
The film, produced with panache, presents what is best in Malopolska. The Wronin Castle in Czorsztyn, the Tropsztyn Castle, Ojców, Pieskowa Skała, Przegorzały, and the Royal Capital City of Krakow – these are the locations promoted in the video. A helicam – an eight-engine unmanned helicopter – and high-quality equipment were used during shooting. What is important is the fact that thanks to the work of the Krakow Film Commission, many other entities will benefit, using the film to reach a wide audience in the sectors in which they operate.
At the same time, the Kraków. Malopolska – Scenery for Meetings campaign was carried out as part of the project called “The Promotion of Business Tourism in Malopolska in the Foreign Markets”, Measure 8.1 within the Regional Operational Programme for the Malopolska Region for 2007-2013, supported from the resources of the EU budget. Its main aim was to promote Malopolska as a recognisable destination in the international meetings industry market by encouraging the audience to organise meetings in Malopolska, promoting the offer of the meetings industry, a comprehensive presentation of Malopolska’s advantages and building the region’s brand. A film promoting the Krakow. Malopolska Scenery for Meetings project was produced for the purposes of the campaign.
Coordinated promotional, advertising, and image campaigns make it possible to enhance the consistent image of Krakow and Malopolska as interesting destinations for the meetings industry. It is particularly worth stressing the fact that the common aim has connected institutions which are very different from each other statutorily, but in strategic matters, they are able to support one another and derive notable benefits: develop the meetings market, the film industry, and tourism – not only the business kind.
