Judith Owen will play before Bryan Ferry 28 May at ICE Kraków
One of the British stars will appear in ICE Kraków on 28 May 2017, presenting a diversified set list of hits from his Roxy Music catalogue, and the vocalist’s solo productions – including his most recent album ”Avonmore”, acclaimed by critics and the audience. On that night we well also see on stage magical Judith Owen, who will appear as a support.
The pianist, vocalist and composer Judith Owen is known for her love for musical diversity and splendidly combining various music styles into her own.
“By nature, I am a diverse musician. It’s who I am because of all the music I grew up being exposed to, from opera to Sinatra, Joni Mitchell to Stevie Wonder, and everything in between” – says Judith.
Her most recent album ”Somebody’s Child” is the culmination of this musical mix. ”It's classical. It's pop. There's jazz. There's rhythm and blues. Then there's rock thrown in there too” - stresses Judith. They songs have been written with a thought that we are all someone’s children – not only our parents but also the Earth.
Judith’s most recent album also includes a dreamy version of ”More Than This” from Roxy Music repertoire. Its recording was totally approved by its composer – Bryan Ferry, by the way at his piano in his London studio.
Judith Owen will be accompanied by a band consisting of: Pedro Segundo – drums, Gabriella Swallow – cello, Meghan Cassidy – viola, Lizzie Ball – violin.
