Medical Tourism Congress

The autumn Medical Tourism Congress will be a follow-up of the pilot Krakow Medical Tourism Congress which was held last year. The aim of debates is to build a treatment offer available for external clients in a package form.

Medical tourism has become increasingly popular across the world. It can also be Krakow’s specialty. The Mayor of the City of Krakow Jacek Majchrowski who opened last year’s conference, encouraged efforts to benefit from the city’s medical potential in the building of a tourist image of the city. Krakow is not only the cradle of Polish medicine, but also a centre of development of medical sciences with an extensive network of medical, rehabilitation and spa services to offer.

On 12-13 October experienced medical and tourism industry specialists will discuss a wide thematic spectrum. Among other things, they will talk about expectations of clients from abroad and identify Poland’s place on the European medical tourism market.
