Promotion of Krakow and the Malopolska Region in Scandinavia
Oslo and Stockholm are the two cities where presentations of Krakow and the Malopolska Region were given few days ago (30, 31 October – Tuesday, Wednesday) within the framework of the project, entitled “The promotion of business tourism in Malopolska in the foreign markets”, which is implemented as a part of the Malopolska Regional Operational Programme for the years 2007 – 2013.
The presentations were directed to the representatives of the Scandinavian meetings industry. The participants could find out what Malopolska Region and its capital city – Krakow have to offer. The presentation included a new conference center “ICE Krakow” which is going to be inaugurated by the end of 2014.
The guests were welcomed, among others, by Mr Adam Hałaciński – the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Stockholm, Mr Józef Domagalski – the First Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Oslo and Ms Małgorzata Hudyma – the Director of the Polish National Tourist Office in Stockholm. The preparations of the presentation were coordinated by the Krakow Convention Bureau.
